ONE WAY TICKET

Screaming and more screaming … such, their life has become … with prayers that if they were answered , mountains would crumble and become rubble , abusive words followed by the descriptive word " YOU " , incalculable accusations , tension, and insults heard from behind the walls of the house . This raging storm never calms down until " Ibrahim" leaves the house in order to avoid the unexpected . He used to leave his wife " Mona" crying out of anger with her children . Before leaving , he used to shell the Arabs with his heavy bombs .. like , you Arabs are retarded .. do not know the meaning of life …your life is only eating and drinking …. women are good only for cooking and blowing … I do not know how a women sleeps next to her husband while there is an onion in her pocket … I will not taste life until I leave you and travel to Europe .

It is not the first time to have such quarrels. Life would have been as it is, if they had not discovered his secret debts. Where is all the money he used to play with? No one knows. He left … but this it is without coming back  . This time his threat is real although she does not believe him. He left without coming back . She said to him : Damn you thousand times … may you not comeback . "Ibrahim" was working at a plastic factory in "Tel Aviv". He asked the factory owner to let him sleep in the factory until the crisis is over . " Shlomo "  agreed , however, he couldn't sleep . This was not because he used to stay till one after midnight at the coffee shop of  "Abu Al-Hassan" or because of the smelly ,old bed , but because he was occupied  thinking about how to find a house to stay at . Yet , despite all this , he recalled "Itamar" the Polish, with whom he hadn't been in touch for a long time . He remembered the first time she had invited him to her house after meeting her during his tour on the beach of "Jafa" where she asked him if he had a light. As he arrived at her house , he found her almost naked . Her welcome was such that he has never experienced with his wife, not even once . After assuring him in happiness that her husband would be abroad for ten days, she started flirting with him . He still remembers that electric shock as his body and fingers touched her silky body and hair in silent elation . Her redolent perfume triggered wild instincts in his soul . Then after it was all over he fall asleep next to her . He also remembered " Carmela " , his Italian girlfriend and all the money he had spent on her saying to him :

- We don’t need this country …Let's immigrate to Italy and

live a happy life …We can earn a lot of money there ….

The day with the high dark clouds blocking the sun was about to end . Mystery smelled everywhere . The amount of money he asked from " Shlomo " was too big , therefore he was given only half on the condition that it would be paid from his salary… He left to his preferred place at " Hertzel " where the Moroccan pub of

" Avenovic " stood . He was very tensed , heavy like Mount Hermon , he picked up the pay phone and murmured :

" Carmela " ! How are you .. I got something like a thousand dollar … Now you can

order two one-way tickets to Rome …One-way ticket.
