We write this letter to express that we, as an Arabic publishing house in Hong Kong and/or as an individual, have nothing whatsoever to do with the so-called ‘The Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hong Kong’ nor with its so-called Lord Edwin Hitti. We find ourselves obliged to bring it to public in order to clear our name from any misuse by the so-called chamber. Being one of its victims, we still keep all the corresponding to prove that that company has used our services in terms of translation and technical support to its website for five months without paying us our due charges. Keen not to squander our precious time as we are, we have decided to drop the matter and keep away from that company once and for all. We hope the Arabic community in Hong Kong and overseas not to link our name with that company which has more than a question mark relating to its identity and activities.

نكتب هذه الرسالة كي نوضح أننا ، كدار نشر عربية في هونج كونج أو على المستوى الشخصي ، ليس لنا أية علاقة بما يسمى "الغرفة العربية للتجارة والصناعة في هونج كونج" ، ولا بمن يسمى "لورد إدوين حِتـِّي". إننا نجد أنفسنا مضطرين لأن نعلن هذا كي نحفظ اسمنا من أي سوء استخدام من قِبل ما يسمى بـ "الغرفة التجارية". ولأننا واحدٌ من ضحاياها ، فإننا ما زلنا نحتفظ بكل المراسلات التي تثبت أن هذه الشركة قد استخدمت خدماتنا ، فيما يتعلق بالترجمة والمساعدة الفنية لموقعها لمدة خمسة أشهر دون أن تدفع لنا سنتاً واحداً. ولحرصنا على عدم إهدار وقتنا الثمين ، فقد قررنا نسيان الأمر برمته ، والابتعاد نهائياً عن هذه الشركة. ولهذا فإننا نرجو من المجتمع العربي في هونج كونج والخارج ألا يربط اسمنا بهذه الشركة التي عليها أكثر من علامة استفهام تتعلق بهويتها وأنشطتها.
